Swami Ji was a Hindu monk Sanyasin, Yogi and Vaidya (non-graduate Ayurvedic doctor). He was born in a business environment in the late 1920’s in a deeply spiritual Indian family originally from Rajasthan but settled in Nepal.
After long studies, both ancient philosophical texts, themodern science , and economics studies at the University of Calcutta he became home business taking over the business by managing 3 factories.
In 1959 he suffered from lung cancer that the doctors considered sufficiently advanced but he refused the operation and preferred to spend 37 days while following a natural Ayurvedic herbal treatment. He especially understood, through meditation that he then had time to practice, the origin of his evil: the pressure and the enormous stress of running his businesses. He then decided to radically change his way of life, to give up business, he also renounced family life and entered the Sanyasin Order.(monks) and took the religious name mentioned above.
He embarked on the path that would become the Mission of his life: “To teach and propagate ancient Knowledge and its philosophy all over the world, with a view to ensuring a healthy, happy and healthy life .”
Swami Ji started traveling and teaching in Europe in 1980. He moved to France in 1982 and became a French resident . At the time Ayurveda was not known so he created the first Association for the Promotion of Medicine and Ayurvedic Massage in Paris. He also traveled and spread his ancestral knowledge in several European countries (including Italy, Russia and Holland) and then moved to Le Barcarès (near Perpignan) in the mid-90s where he created our ayurvedic center and yoga by the sea.
Swami Ji has created a special Ayurvedic massage , a synthesis of traditional Indian massage (also known as Abyanga), Ayurvedic medicine and the energetic principles of yoga (including pranayama and chakra meditation). taught until the end of his days to more than 1000 students in the world, and that was his supreme gift to humanity.
Swami Ji left his body in July 2016 in Varanasi (Benares) in India on the edge of the Ganges where he was deposited, but he left us a great treasure, rich and wise teachings as well as his center and his association APMA that he asked us to continue.
